Breast care is an important and ongoing component of your total health. At The Breast Center we have gathered a team of specially trained clinicians to guide you through your breast health needs in a comfortable, supportive and technologically advanced environment designed especially for women.
Located on the second floor of Floyd Medical Center at the hospital’s North Entrance, The Breast Center is a new concept in comprehensive breast health care. We focus on providing women with complete breast care beginning with education and continuing with screening, diagnostics and rapid results. Should a breast health issue arise, our staff follows up with navigation assistance through treatment and ongoing support.
Our female primary care providers offer a comprehensive screening process that complements the standard mammogram with a clinical breast exam, breast self exam education and a lifetime risk assessment. Because we recognize that waiting for test results can be difficult, we have developed a process to provide you with your imaging results within 24 hours.
