Floyd has provided diagnostic cardiac catheterization services since 1992. Today, Floyd has three fully equipped cardiac catheterization labs that, in addition to catheterization, also provide balloon angioplasty, drug-eluting stent implantation, defibrillator implantation and pacemaker implantation.

Our Cardiac Catheterization laboratory offers state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, a sophisticated imaging system for interventional procedures, and an eight-bed admission and recovery area staffed with specially trained cardiology experts.

The lab is equipped with Phillips Medical Integris
H-5000 digital cardiovascular imaging to offer the following cardiology services:

• Cardiac catheterization
• Balloon angioplasty
• Drug-eluting stent placement
• Cardioversion
• Transesophageal echocardiography
• Pacemaker implantation
• Internal cardiac defibrillator implantation
